Why do you need this girl to stop talking to you to get back together with your ex anyway? You should be able to still talk to this girl but if you don’t wanna then just be straight up and tell her that you don’t wanna talk anymore and tell her why (because you are trying to get back together with your ex)
tell her your sorry but you were on a break. and now your trying to get back with your gf. she’ll be hurt but unless she’s nuts she will understand.
Just tell her the truth, that you dont like her that way, and you want to stop talking to her so that you can be with someone else.
it’s not like you’re in a relationship with this girl, so you don’t have to tell her anything, unless you feel the need to. get back with your ex, if this other girl is decent she’ll distance herself, but if she keeps on”talking” confront her. by then you should tell your ex about her, too..
You need to be honest with her and tell her you want to try to get back with your ex. You men would be amazed how easy it is to be strait with us. Would save you all alot of grief instead of betting around the bush about things.

You don’t necessarily have to be a jerk about it but if you have tried telling her a couple of times that you don’t want to talk to her anymore then just stop talking to her completely. I went through the same thing not too long ago myself. The best way to handle this, is to just be honest.She should understand. Just tell her straight up “look me and my ex are just on a break because we where apart for some time but now she is back and we want to try and make things work with us, so could you please just back off a little?” and if the nice guy approach doesn’t work then be a jerk. Like I said just don’t talk to her anymore or take her messages or calls. She’ll get the hit. I hope it works out for you.
